Role Duties

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, those below

  • Lead new product introduction projects from concept to production
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet targets
  • Co-ordinate NPI meetings as required
  • Produce and develop designs through from concept into production, ensuring all design modifications/improvements are captured and implemented
  • Interpret Engineering Drawings, Specifications and CAD models for Cti products and processes
  • Facilitate feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product designs
  • Work with design engineering teams to develop and optimise casting designs for manufacturability and performance
  • Develop, document, and implement manufacturing processes for new products
  • Optimise production processes for efficiency, cost, and quality
  • Establish new and existing processes that minimise manufacturing cost and improve associate safety
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure processes meet all specifications and standards
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, operations, and quality.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for tooling and material requirements
  • Plan and oversee the testing and validation of new products to ensure they meet all regulatory and customer requirements
  • Analyse data and implement necessary design or process changes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Lead and deploy best practices in manufacturing, by way of reducing cost and cycle times but improving material flow
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements
  • Assist in creating a facility that delivers a quality product, that is recognised as such by our customers
  • Document Packages / Product Release
  • Non-Conformance and Corrective Action
  • Supplier Management
  • Calibrations / Tooling Management
  • Standards Control
  • Internal Audits
  • Risk Assessments
  • Inform relevant internal personnel of quality issues affecting customer so action can be taken immediately
  • Complete quality plans when required
  • Undertake training on Quality requirements
  • FMEA
  • Purchase Orders
  • Arranging 3rd party inspections such as Lloyds
  • Ensure supplier issues are dealt with effectively
  • Ensure calibration results are recorded and certificates stored in an organised arrangement
  • Champion, support or lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Drive objectives and KPI’s throughout the business to improve performance
  • Analyse KPI data to determine continuous improvement techniques
  • Validate suitability of procedures, measures of performance and targets
